Thoughts on Christian music and radio in the UK

Every now and again I listen to a spot of Premier Christian Radio and
UCB in the car.

And then I am reminded why I don't very often.

UCB worried me with a filler spot which blamed depression on
unresolved sin, saying no doctor could help with this. Depression is a
mental illness which needs medical treatment as well as prayer for
healing. I found their attitude very worrying and thought it
potentially dangerous.

I was also struck by how boring and repetative most of the worship
music played was. Where are the calls to bring abour God's kingdom on
earth like:

I think actually some UK folk singers are doing more to stir people up
