Lets get ipods baby

Lets get ipods people!

It works - I've seen the proof.

And in other worlds, a friends who I encouaged to dance, Luke had been accepted into a youth dance academy and hopes to be a pro dancer. It's great! Especially as his rents were never especially supportive and hes just wowed them ! Full credit to our teacher Miss Brewer for encouraging him and helping him believe in himself.

A knittish post

With pictures to follow when I've taken them.

Currently at work waiting for something to do. My waist height filing pile is gone, my delivery notes filed, my storage files made, I am FileGirl - want to patent me?

I finished my lovely socks, I think they were in Socka Mexico - I loved the stripes they made. Nice and warm. It was my first experience of cuff down socks and I think I prefer toe up, being able to try it on as you go is better. Besides in self striping yarn heel flaps look well flappy.... :-)

I made a teeny lace phone cozy in green acrylic for my mobile. It kept getting scratched and that isn't an option. It's got diagonal lines of eyelets in stripes around it. I decided to try out different sorts of decrease after my YO. I like the slip one passover one - cleaner lines!

Currently working on a little wrap cardithing for a friend in blue mohair. Making up a pattern as you go along is very fun....

The Clapotis is okay - the decrease rows now - bit boring but looks lovely.

Next in the mix more socks maybe solid colour with a lace pattern, and then a possible blanket for some recently married internet people.

For becky about ms lewis

She's a star
who lit my life
she showed how ambitious
gives you wings
Telling me I'm beautiful
showed me that
inside is better than
outside
this world she'll soar
reaching
metting her challange
she faces
motherhood
and joy
she showed me how to believe in me
and my ability
and how to hide within your self
and draw love and magic
out of nothing but ideas

How can you thank someone for that?

I'm a free woman and man does it feel strange.

No more rushing home to do homework
No more revision
No more registration or assemblies
No more schooly -ness

Will I miss it?

I'm not sure. I loved my time at school, but I feel ready now for a new challenge.

My little history class.. Who's moaning about class sizes now?

The ball has been and gone, all I have to wait for now is results day. I'm currently working at my dad's office as the junior and earning lots of money for an 18 yr old with no experience. At £6.50 an hour tax free I earn more thanmy mum with her 20yrs + as a nursery nurse. Something is so not right there.

where I fell and split my lip

This is my friend Lizzy and I posing whilst the majority of the sixth form pretended to be sad. I wasn't sad. Well until they read'that road less travelled' poem. That gets me every time...

*lump*

Anyway back to the ball...
