Meaning through work

What have I been up to then?

During my week of guided prayer, God spoke to me about not worrying
about what my calling is, simply to just get on and do.

So am I.

As a General Council member for the Student Christian Movement, I have
been working with the rest of GC to plan the next years events, and
have been reviewing their marketing in a bid to better publicise
events.

As secretary of the University of Southampton Chaplaincy Association,
I have been organising the Naked Calendar in a bid to raise money and
help save the Chaplaincy, along with starting the long process to get
charitable status and to get a bank account.

As a member of the Church of the Ascension Bitterne Park, I have been
rehearsing for our big opening service on Wednesday, fundraising for
church, doing sound and vision at services and signing up to be a
flower arranging lady.

I've been going to dance lessons, sewing curtain tie backs, making
cakes, craeting bouquets for mums for Mother's day.

Oh yes, and I've been planning a wedding.

and I feel fulfilled!
